At a glance

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to BMI Pulse, Google Analytics, or advertisers.

Necessary browser storage remembers your theme, units, and privacy choice.

Google Analytics loads only after you accept optional cookies.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies when advertising is enabled, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

Calculator information

The age, sex, height, weight, waist measurement, and activity information you enter into our calculators is processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. BMI Pulse does not transmit or store those calculator inputs on its servers, and they are not included in our analytics or advertising requests.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard access-log information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, and timestamp. This information is used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and basic site operations.

Browser storage and your choices

We use necessary localStorage entries to remember your light or dark theme, preferred measurement units, and cookie choice. Optional analytics does not load unless you select “Accept optional cookies.” You can change your decision at any time using “Cookie choices” in the footer. You can also delete stored data through your browser settings.

Google Analytics

If you accept optional cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregated traffic and improve the site. Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser information, and interaction events. It does not receive the values entered into our calculators. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

BMI Pulse may display advertising provided by Google AdSense and Google-certified advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Advertising providers may process identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, ad impressions, and interactions to deliver, limit, and measure advertising. We do not send calculator inputs to advertisers or use them to create advertising audiences.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. You may also opt out of some third-party vendors’ personalised advertising at YourAdChoices. Where consent is legally required, advertising cookies and personalisation are controlled through an applicable consent flow.

Google’s use of data

For more information about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

External services and links

We load web fonts from Google Fonts. Requests to external websites linked from BMI Pulse are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies. We do not control their practices.

Children’s privacy

BMI Pulse is a general-audience informational service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. BMI results for minors should be interpreted by a parent or guardian together with a qualified healthcare professional.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, deletion, correction, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Because calculator inputs stay on your device, we cannot access or delete them for you. For questions or requests about other data, email privacy@bmipulse.com.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
